Colaboración khanacademy

Estimados alumnos:

https://www.khanacademy.org/labs/assessments

Hi teachers,

Thanks so much for offering to have your students take our assessment next week or another time soon.

We are so grateful to you and your students for helping us improve our site.

As a reminder, we have 2 assessments available at this time: the comprehensive assessment covers all math topics on Khan Academy, and the algebra assessment covers arithmetic through algebra. These initial, very preliminary assessments are not yet adaptive, but we will use the data from early users, including your students, to build adaptive assessments for our site. To take the assessment, your students should log into their Khan Academy accounts and go to https://www.khanacademy.org/labs/assessments, where they can click the link for the assessment they would like to take. If students have been exposed to concepts beyond algebra, we would appreciate it if they would take the comprehensive assessment.

The comprehensive and algebra assessments are untimed and 15 questions long. We expect most students to take 20-30 mins. on an assessment.

The assessments are meant to be untimed. If you are working within a fixed amount of class time, students may simply answer as many questions as they can in that time (rather than rush to finish all 15 questions).

At the end of the assessment, students will see a basic score report. That data may not be available in the future as we make modifications to the assessments and work to improve them. When students begin the assessments, they will see some basic instructions that describe how the experience works. In particular, once they finish a question, they will not be able to go back to it. Thanks again so much to you and your students for helping us with this important and exciting initiative.

Best,

Elizabeth and the Khan Academy Team
